This is a more subtle treatment of a Quaker marriage
certificate. It features 128 signature/witness lines and
detailed vows, including the usual date and location of the
ceremony, generic main vows, as well as individual vows. A
paler, more delicate color palette is used for the cherry
blossom illustrations. The main text is rendered in
indigo-colored ink, while the individual vows are rendered
in the colors of slate blue and medium violet. Faux silver
leaf-gilded diamond shapes are used to accent the couple's
names. Gouache was custom-mixed for the Copperplate script
calligraphy, and is the medium used throughout the entire
document. Stonehenge White paper is used for the document,
while Japanese unryu and mulberry papers are used for the
folder and its endpapers.
